This is a week long event during the Easter season, and it features calypso shows, queen shows, parties, street jam sessions and late night limes (hang outs). Most activities are held around central Sandy Point and on Pump Bay, Fig Tree.

The Green Valley Festival
Starting in Cayon
The Green Valley Festival is held primarily by the Cayon Community in the parish of St. Mary. It is considered by some to be the second biggest festival in St. Kitts following the National Carnival. In 2006, Green Valley celebrated their 10th Annual Festival, which was a huge success. For 2007, plans are on the way to make it just as good or even better then last year. The Green Valley Festival has already released the names of the contestants participating in the pageant namely Sherry Roberts, Lareida Daniel, Patrice Walters, Shermel Jeffers and Felicia Silcott. The ladies are sponsored by Grant’s Ice-cream Parlour, F&H Frisco, Parris Shopping Center, British American Insurance, Green Valley Global Committee New York and Burroughs/Isaac/Tyson from the USVI. The Committee has also stated that this year’s International night will feature popular Trinidadian Soca artiste Denise Belfon and Jamaica Reggae singer Fantan Mojah. These artistes are expected to perform on May 27th at Maynard’s Park, Cayon.

Nevis Culturama

Culturama....Nevis' premier festival is a unique celebration of the most significant milestone in our history - the Emancipation of slaves in the 1830's. It is a t-day focus on all aspects of Nevisian Arts and Culture featuring : - Drama Presentation - Junior/Senior KAISO Contests - Miss Culture Queen Pageant/Talented Youth Pageant -Cultural Street Fair, Emancipation Day Jump-up - Grand Cultural Parade and Display and Culturama Tuesday. - Lead-up activities span the entire month of July including dramatic oresentations, Street Dancing, Kaiso Tents, Miss Culture Presentation Dance etc. The Cultural Village Featuring food and drink, music and dynamic preformances attracts huge crowds nightly until the morning hours for a full 3-week period.
